There is consideration for active member renewals due on March 31 every year. “Active”, “Inactive” and “Deleted” is being reviewed. Do you have ideas on how this can be implemented through CMS?

In BC we’ve been tracking attendance as the requirement for Active status; no attendance for 12 months gets you moved to Inactive status.
To date, the Deleted status is reserved for those who resign or who have been Inactive for six years. We have several individuals who have been Inactive for a couple of years due to work or health or other who have returned and been valuable members.
We keep a spreadsheet on which the members are retained until they have not attended for up to seven years unless they resign and request removal from that list. We also have computer records of all activities back to April 2000 from which we can review a members participation after an absence beyond the CMS records,

All computers based system has the ability to remind the “clients, or subscriber” with renewal notice.
Why not similer procedure be implemented in CASARA system.

The policy change requires the member to become inactive after a year and deleted a year after that. The Directors considered holding membership longer but decided against allowing that.
Currently CMS doesn’t have any processes that email anyone about anything. The email address is optional. There are developments underway that will change that such that the email address will be more critical and useful. When that happens I believe your suggestion will be implemented.

I am trying to put activity for June meeting of MO. cannot get all the members names on one list. All the zones show up on the list but no list for all the members of the MO appear.
It was there before.

Grant, that is a very good example of something that doesn’t occur often but can occur. Bill, can you address? I believe the form should be continuous.
